As such, we abide by the code of ethics of the mentioned entity, which contains the following provisions among others:

Principles and obligations

  • To provide precise and truthful information to enable proper evaluation, rating and acceptance of risks;
  • To always act with dignity and loyalty, and not to provide misleading or unfounded information about its professional experience and, in no case, give its clients direct or indirect advantages that conflict with legislation;
  • To collaborate with regulatory and inspection bodies towards improving streamlining, standardization and inspection of the insurance market;
  • To keep absolute confidentiality by reason of its professional activity, except in those cases provided for in the law or upon request from competent authorities;
  • To carry out its professional activities with probity, not to commit acts contrary to the provisions of this Code, and not to commit acts defined as violations;
  • To act in good faith, not to alter or misrepresent the contents of documents, and not to provide information that is not true;
  • To refrain from giving opinions or issuing comments, that are not adequately informed, authorized and properly documented;
  • To immediately deliver to its clients any amounts and documents intended for them;
  • To faithfully comply with obligations and commitments arising from contracts or other instruments undertaken with insureds and insurers, and to hold itself jointly and severally liable for acts committed by Agents appointed by them;
  • To maintain the company information filed with the Supervisory body and the representative entities adequately up-to-date, in accordance with current legislation;
  • To comply with the provisions contained in the Federal Constitution, the Consumer Protection Code , and the Civil Code, particularly the parts that refer to brokerage; and other pertinent laws, regulations and normative acts.

Social Relationships

  • To cooperate for the progress of the profession through interchange of information and technical knowledge, and contribute with our work to professional associations, schools, and technical and scientific information entities;
  • To use publicity in a clear and direct manner, to offer and advertise services compatible with commercial practice and current legislation;
  • To sacrifice personal interests in favor of collective interests, to offer greater cooperation for development of the insurance market;
  • To regard the profession as a high title of honor, and not to perform acts or contribute to the performance of acts that may compromise credibility and citizenship
